"I booked thinking I would be staying in the Black Boy inn with all its old world charm, but no I was told to go to the top of the road turn right and my room will be in a blue building on the left, I told the receptionist that I was expecting a room in the Black Boy Inn not a random remotely run ie no staff hotel round the corner, she replied we have several properties in the area but the Inn is full. "The whole hotel was spotless. The rooms were quiet, I slept very well, and the food was amazing. We were visiting from Houston, Texas, and would definitely like to visit again. "

The carpet was threadbare in places; the corridor and our room 223 had paint flaking off in places; the curtains were in need of replacement and were tattily drawn which looked a mess.
