What a wonderful location

The location of the property was ideal, the quality was excellent, the owners (and son) where friendly and we couldn't fault anything. Highlights were "FiFi", the kitchen (and its equipment - loved that teapot!!) - and what a fantastic shower!! 5 stars all round and very highly recommended.

A comfortable, well-situated gite in the Perigord Noir

This was a comfortable property with everything needed for a very happy stay. Quiet and private, it was nevertheless well situated for those wishing to explore the Perigord Noir and further afield. And all essential services (food, fuel etc) were very close by. We much enjoyed our stay.

Discover the country

Gerard and Josette have clearly put some work into providing a clean and atmospheric country experience. We spent a lot of time sitting on the porch and sipping wine. The ambiance of this country farmhouse is wonderful. The kitchen is quite well equipped. Full size refrigerator. New oven and stove top. One of the few places we have ever stayed that had plenty of cleaning supplies available and lots of paper products. The lounge is very large and could probably use some brighter lights above the table. Besides that, we loved our stay.

Endroit idéal pour se reposer et visiter

Gite au calme, très frais, il est le lieu de prédilection pour les fortes chaleurs. Les espaces sont grands, les chambres situées au sous-sol à 300 mètres du village vous offrant un calme absolu. Situé près de Domme, Beynac, Castelnaud, les Milandes, Fénélon, vous pouvez rapidement visiter sans faire de gros trajets. Pas très loin du Lot, c'est l'option aussi de faire vos courses et de visiter des grottes sans trop de touristes. Les propriétaires sont adorables, prévenants et disponibles en plus d'être généreux par la mise à disposition de produits d'entretien, un peu de lessive et pastilles lave-vaisselle.

Entspannung und Urlaub pur!

Wir haben zu zweit 2 wunderbare Wochen im Perigord Noir verbracht. Die Ferienunterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr viel Platz im ganzen Haus, die Ausstattung mit vielen alten Möbeln passt zum Stil des Hauses. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, besonders wenn man auch mal selbst kochen oder grillen möchte. Bäcker, Metzger und kleiner Supermarkt im Ort, nur knapp einen Kilometer entfernt. Abends auf der Terrasse konnten wir wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge erleben. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es so viel zu entdecken, dass keine Langeweile aufkommt. Die Gastgeber sind unheimlich freudlich und haben uns bei der Ankunft ganz viele Tipps und Informationen gegeben. Dafür ist es nützlich, wenn man ein bisschen Französisch kann. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner, entspannter Aufenthalt in toller Lage.

Maison très agréable et spacieuse. Equipement cuisine impeccable, rien ne manque. Concernant les chambres, elles sont très agréables car fraîche, en temps de canicule c'est TOP. La maison est situé à proximité de nombreuses activités (cités médiévales, grottes, plans d'eau et/ou bases nautiques, plages où on peut se baigner dans la rivière de la Dordogne....). La région est très belle et les paysages magnifiques. Pour finir, nous avons apprécié le calme de la maison et la proximité des lieux touristiques (20 mn en voiture de Sarlat).

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Groléjac. Le gîte est très bien, fidèle à la description et très bien équipé. La localisation géographique permet un accès rapide aux principaux sites à visiter (château, grotte, plus beaux villages de France ) .
