"When I booked this hotel I had no idea what to expect as I was ment to be going to Luxembourg but that hotel canceled on me so at the last minute I booked here as it looked so lovely. And I was not disappointed, I had no idea on the area or what to see or do. But once I got here the idea is to do nothing. Yes you can bike around or go on wine tasting but you can also sit and do nothing. That is what this place and hotel gives you. Peace and serenity. The staff are absolutely amazing and I need an extra night and they did their best to fit me in. I was so grateful. I did not taste the wine as I don’t drink but I saw many other visitors enjoying it. The breakfast was exceptional and just what you need to start up your day. The room and large and clean and have all you need to sleep and relax I was kindly offered a balcony room and that was just perfect for me. I could watch the world go by. I slept soundly and really enjoyed my time here. Will certainly come back. The manager (owner?) is second to none! Truly lovely lady. "

"The building is old and as you walk through it you can feel that the floors are not even and they creak. However, that also gives it is certain charme. Breakfast was great and the staff was super nice and accomodating as my wife and I are vegans. Location is perfect, right by the Mosel and where the tour ships dock. We were able to walk anywhere and didn't have to move our car once during our stay. Shower had great water pressure and the bed was comfortable for me, a bit soft for my wife, but that is going to be different for every person. Overall a very pleasant experience!"

"Clean and well maintained facility. Staff members are friendly, and our room was facing back side of the main road and super quiet. The blackout curtain worked well too. Enjoyed the breakfast also. It was a great stay visiting Trier. "
