The gabled house with its typical Frisian furnishings is one
Jewel - for demanding people!

In its 86 sqm living space you will find:
• A very spacious living and dining room with a Danish stove, satellite TV and stereo. An integrated, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher.
• In addition, two cozy bedrooms with five beds and a cot.
• A shower bathroom with washing machine and an extra toilet

The house is right on the water:
Enjoy the wonderful view over the Timmeler Sea. The well-kept rose terrace can be reached directly from the living room and kitchen and also offers enough space for a social gathering for a large group. The garden offers a lawn and a jetty.
In addition, at least two bicycles and a rowboat are freely available on the water jetty or in the carport.

The Timmel Sea invites you to all kinds of water sports. Here you can go sailing, rowing, surfing, pedal boating, swimming or fishing. You can rent a motorboat at the harbor to explore the canals that flow into the lake. Go for long walks on the dreamy lake in winter. Here you can relax and unwind!

The sandy beach offers a wide lying and leisure area with play equipment and a beach volleyball court.
Changing rooms, lockers, showers, a beach sauna, a kiosk and a bistro are right on the beach.


The holiday area Timmel in the municipality of Großefehn is centrally located in the middle of East Frisia, about 8 km from the A 31 exit Neermoor.

With day trips you can reach all surrounding destinations within an hour. B. the coastal Sielorte, the Emsspeerwerk, the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, the garden landscape Ammerland, the energy experience center Aurich, the Fehnmuseum Eiland and the cities of Emden, Aurich and Leer with the historic old town.

Our tour guide team "Kiek in’t Land" v. Großefehn will be happy to show you all the sights with local expertise.

Walks or bike rides take you to nearby destinations, such as the lively boat harbor, quiet places between meadows and fields, along numerous canals in Fehndörfer, or the nature protection station in Lübbertsfehn. In any case, you should visit the typical Fehndorf Westgroßefehn with its original character.

Die Lage des Hauses ist gut,man kann in Timmeln viel unternehmen,.Die Strandbar ist klasse und der neue Spielplatz auch!Das Mobiliar etwas veraltet und abgenutzt,besonders die Matratzen,sehr alt und durch gelegen. So schlecht haben wir noch nirgends geschlafen!!!Ruderboot ist defekt, wo das Ruder rein kommt!Das Haus selber ist leider nicht empfehlenswert.

Das Haus war sehr sauber. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der große Garten und die kleine Terrasse war wirklich toll! Super war auch der mobile Zaun für unseren Hund :) Die Sterne Abzug gibt es leider nur wegen der in die Jahre gekommenen Matratzen. Unser Gastgeber hat uns aber versichert diese in Zukunft auszutauschen.

Das Haus war sehr schön, allerdings für 8 Personen wäre das Haus zu klein. Wünschenswert wäre, das eine Überdachung oder Markise vorhanden wäre. Auch der Steg sollte überholt bzw repariert werden. Was heute eigentlich standart wäre, sind Internet und WLAN. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett.

Soweit alles okay. Einige Sachen sind renovierungs-/reparaturbedürftig, aber durch das Alter des Hauses akzeptabel. Leider konnten wir das Boot gar nicht nutzen, da ein Ruder an der Verbindung zum Boot defekt war, was beim jüngsten Familienmitglied Unzufriedenheit ausgelöst hat. Ansonsten sehr nette, ruhige Umgebung.

Kleines Häuschen Timmeler Meer

Nettes Häuschen, gute Küchenausstattung, Schiebtür zur Terrasse hakelig und laut in der Handhabung, kein WLAN und kein Mobilnetzempfang. Das ist einerseits gut, Detox, andererseits schwierig gewesen, weil es um Terminabprachen in der Umgebung ging. Betten unten nur maximal drei Sterne. Außerdem ist der Raum für drei Menschen zu klein. Sonst alles okay

Ruhe pur

Wir waren außerhalb der Saison und dadurch war es wie erhofft sehr ruhig und beschaulich. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht abgesehen von einer Netzabdeckung. Die Fahrräder fahren, sind aber eigentlich nur zum Brötchen holen geeignet werden aber kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Haben das Haus ,die nähere Umgebung mit Rundwegen geniessen können.Auch die schönen Städte Leer und Aurich sind schnell zu erreichen. Due Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und gut erreichbar. Ein entspannter Urlaub.

Schönes Haus in guter Lage

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut erholt. Das Haus ist schon etwas älter, jedoch sehr sauber. Zu bemängeln gibt es nur das fehlende WLAN (was wir vorher wussten), jedoch hatten wir auch kaum normales Internet. Ansonsten ist alles okay. Dankeschön!!

Entspannung pur

Das Haus liegt direkt am Wasser mit einen herrlichen Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmerfenster. Mit dem Ruderboot konnten wir die Gegend erkunden. In 6 min.zu Fuß ist man am Timmeler Meer zum Baden, für die Kinder ist dort ein neuer, großer und modern angelegter Spielplatz. Der Ort liegt zentral zu Emden und Aurich in etwa 20 min. zu erreichen. Vermieterin Frau Onken hat uns nett empfangen. Im Haus hatten wir alles am spülen ( Tabs für Geschirrspüler)da, auch Waschmittel. Die Siedlung ist sehr ruhig gelegen, Entspannung pur.

Heerlijk rustig aan het water

Mede dankzij het prima weer een geweldige week gehad. Heerlijke plek aan het water. Goede uitvalsbasis voor dagtripjes en om te vissen. In het dorp Timmel een paar uitstekende restaurants en een goed uitgeruste supermarkt.

Das Haus liegt direkt am Wasser und man hat einen schönen Ausblick auf die Natur. Der Ort selbst liegt in der Mitte von Leer, Emden und Aurich. Ostfriesland ist sehr entspannt. Das Haus ist absolut ok...man hat allerdings kein WLAN ( auch ist der Empfang in der Gegend eher schwach). Ebenso vermisst man z. B. eine Mikrowelle. Ein Upgrade wäre nötig.(einige Dinge sind einfach alt, so wie der Sonnenschirm, die Teppiche im OG,...Trotzdem ist es gemütlich. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war etwas umständlich, da keine Handyverbindung angeboten wurde. Fazit: wie gesagt insgesamt ok mit Abzügen in der B-Note.

Sehr fürsorgliche Vermieter. Super entspannende Lage direkt am See. Abentliches Beisammensein am knisternden Kamin. Auf jeden Falll zu empfehlen.
