"We loved our time here in a beautiful location and with a great sense of history. Unfortunately the check in experience was a little stressful. We tried to get directions and check in details beforehand by messaging the host and through VRBO but without result. Following the directions on the listing did not take us to the property and it was only by chance spotting it across the fields that we managed to get there. We wandered round for a while looking for someone and eventually found our hosts door where he was waiting for us. "I booked the hotel but booked it for the wrong day, a day early. The hotel called me and asked when I would arrive and because I messed up my booking was told that they would just change it from "tonight to tomorrow night," which I though was very nice of them. The room was inexpensive, so quite basic but good enough for a night. "
