At the front desk, Laura was more than helpful in getting us situated and feeling comfortable while visiting our son who is in university. We felt welcomed with the type of accommodating attention that is warming and kind. "The house was large for Europe, the host, Carolin, was very attentive and accommodating. The beds were arranged in an interesting manner to fit in 14 people, but it worked. The location is great, close to a grocery store and town. The “hot pot” had been updated from the photos and took a long time to heat, so plan accordingly. The outdoor fireplace was wonderful. It was lovely to have a washer & dryer on site too. (Need Google translate to operate) The trash/recycling/compost situation was confusing so good luck, but Carolin was helpful with that. We never turned on the T.V., so you know it was a great trip. I highly recommend this property if you’re visiting the Black Forest or surrounding areas. "
