Transport links were brilliant with nearby stop for many of the buses that took you right across Salzburg - recommend the Salzburg card. "The location is good, not in the heart of the old town but a short walk of 10 min. Our problem is that the shower room floods quickly because the drainage is kind of blocked. That should be easily detected and fixed earlier, so a big disappointment."

"Samantha and Arne have done an amazing job of transforming their historic property into a modern space. Yet the historic is maintained with exposed parts of the old building. They are a very friendly couple and Heidi their dog is sweet too! In a group of farm houses and modern homes it combines Bavarian country with the conveniences of a larger town. We loved it!!!!"

"Fascinating historic building and street and great location for walking to the old city, Mirabelle Palace, restaurants, and nature trails. We loved the view of the fortress from the rooftop terrace. Note that there are shared washing machines but no dryer. There is a large drying rack. We loved the touches of stone peeking out throughout the building. Die Wohnung lag etwas außerhalb von Ruhpolding mit tollem Ausblick auf die Berge und Wiesen, Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen, Ausflüge, Besichtigungen im Chiemgau bis ins nahe gelegene Österreich. Nette Gastgeber, eigener Swimmingpool im Garten, alles gepflegt und sauber. Es gibt viele Lokale und Almen mit gutem Essen, nicht überteuert, allerdings muß man überall vorher Plätze reservieren."
