The Lausche-Häusl is a rustic, listed Umgebindehaus from the century before last. Situated below the Lausche - the highest mountain in the Zittau Mountains - it offers peace and quiet and closeness to nature. With an open-plan kitchen and log parlour as well as three bedrooms, it offers enough space for six people. Enjoy the view up the Lausche slope from the relaxing lounger or savour a coffee in the shade of an old walnut tree - you'll be delighted!
In the basement you will find the log parlour - whose windows can be closed from the inside with typical Upper Lusatian shutters - as well as the modern open-plan kitchen with dishwasher and one of the two bathrooms. This offers you the comfort of a whirlpool in addition to the shower. Upstairs there are three tastefully furnished double bedrooms and another large bathroom with shower.
The old half-timbered house not only impresses with its charm from centuries past. It also offers modern comforts such as guest WiFi, a modern 42-inch TV and HIFI system with Internet radio, DAB, Bluetooth and USB connection. In addition to the usual TV reception, the TV offers you the convenience of the Magenta film media library. The wood-burning stove provides warmth and cosiness in the cold season.
In the garden you will find a lounger for two as well as plenty of cosy garden furniture for a great time with the family. The generously sized barbecue with barbecue bonnet offers you the option of indirect barbecuing using a water tray. A selection of parlour games provides variety - excitement and fun are guaranteed.
Nature, history and cosiness - that's what the Zittau Mountains in Upper Lusatia stand for. Waltersdorf is a recognised resort characterised by half-timbered houses. All options are open to you here!
You can hike to the Nonnenfelsen with its restaurant and via ferrata or up to the Lauschegipfel. From there you can enjoy the panorama of Upper Lusatia and the Lusatian Mountains in northern Bohemia. Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland and the Bohemian Central Mountains are ideal for excursions. We have a well-maintained hiking and excursion library ready for you. Whether by touring bike, gravel bike or mountain bike, you will find countless routes in this natural setting on both sides of the border to suit your taste and fitness level. You can swim in Lake Olbersdorf or in the outdoor or adventure pool. All options are close by. You can also go cross-country skiing, downhill skiing or ski touring nearby. The Lausche-Häusl is located directly opposite the Lausche downhill slope and the cross-country ski trails are right next door.
Two rustic chalets can be reached on foot in just five minutes. Let us spoil you and enjoy the Upper Lusatian cuisine!
Zittau, Görlitz, the Marienthal monastery and also Deutsch-Gabel and Reichenberg in Bohemia are well worth a visit. Marvel at the Zittau Lenten cloth and immerse yourself in the medieval silhouette of Görlitz. Your holiday will not be enough to visit all the historical sites.
