Surrounded by greenery and set on a quiet hillside, this beautifully restored former hay barn combines traditional rustic character with modern comforts. Sleeping up to 12 guests, it is an excellent choice for large families, groups of friends, multi-generational holidays and relaxed countryside getaways in central Slovenia.

The chalet is arranged over two floors and centres around a generous open-plan living and dining area designed for spending time together. A large fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere on cooler evenings, while the comfortable L-shaped sofa provides plenty of space to relax. Entertainment includes a Smart TV, DVD player and a selection of games.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for group stays with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee-making facilities and everything needed for preparing meals at home. A large dining table provides plenty of room for shared breakfasts and evening dinners.

For year-round comfort, the chalet features air conditioning, underfloor heating, central heating and a private sauna – ideal after a day of hiking, sightseeing or exploring Slovenia.

Outdoor Living

One of Chalet Martin\'s highlights is its extensive private outdoor space. Guests can enjoy a large garden, sunny terrace, outdoor dining area, outdoor kitchen and private BBQ, making summer meals and long evenings outside especially enjoyable.

There is also plenty to keep both adults and children entertained. Guests can play badminton and volleyball, while younger visitors have their own playground with a trampoline, swings, slide, playhouse and sandpit.

Location

Chalet Martin enjoys a peaceful countryside location in Luče near Grosuplje, central Slovenia, combining rural tranquillity with convenient access to Ljubljana and many of Slovenia\'s natural and cultural attractions.

The centre of Grosuplje is approximately 10 minutes away by car, where guests will find supermarkets, shops and a Saturday farmers\' market. The chalet is also conveniently located next to the Pr\'Mrtinet inn and restaurant.

Nature lovers can explore the surrounding countryside on foot, with peaceful walking and hiking routes through the nearby hills. One of the area\'s best-known attractions is Županova Jama (Mayor\'s Cave), where guided tours lead visitors through impressive underground chambers filled with stalactites and stalagmites.

The surrounding area is also rich in history and scenery. Boštanj Castle is approximately an 8-minute drive away, while further afield guests can discover Novo Mesto and the spa region around Šmarješke Toplice.

Thanks to its central location, the chalet is also a convenient base for exploring Ljubljana and central Slovenia, while returning each evening to the peace and privacy of the countryside.
