"Staff was fantastic, pool is great to have as an option and was generally quiet. Location is great if u are able bodied. Breakfast was not very good, but it is free so curb your expectations. The furniture / beds were really low quality and really old. But, if they spent a little bit of money and renovated everything that needed updated, it would probably be a much more expensive hotel. Great bones though! Great value and gets the job done."

"We had a great time in Capri. The hotel was well located and had great access to restaurants, shops and transportation (all options). The staff were super friendly and helpful every time. We wished we booked a room with a view, but there were plenty of ways to get it (pool, walking, etc.)."

"We spent a total of three nights (one in this room) at Hotel La in Capri and overall had a wonderful stay. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable, nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, generous, and beautifully presented each morning. The location is excellent, offering easy access to the island’s charm while feeling like a peaceful retreat. The rooms are comfortable and inviting, and the pool is a lovely spot to relax, with a view that captures the breathtaking beauty Capri is famous for. I’m giving 8/10 for a couple of small things. There was some mould around the bathtub, and the air-conditioning was a little old and noisy, though this may simply be a challenge across the island, given the humidity and the age of many buildings. Minor points on an otherwise lovely stay, and we’d happily return."

"We only stopped in Capri for one night and wish we had longer to enjoy this hotel! Alex was extremely helpful when we arrived, giving us a map and explaining the local area. His dogs were also very friendly and cute, it immediately felt very homely. He escorted us to a room with a sea view and a private terrace which was a lovely surprise and much appreciated after our kayaking trip in Marina Piccola that day. Alex highlighted a few restaurant recommendations on the map, one of which was Le Grotelle which we had made a reservation in advance and was just a few minutes walk from the hotel. It was so peaceful in this area in the evening as it away from the crowded streets in Capri town, but still close enough if you wanted to walk down there during the day. One of the highlights of the stay was the large variety at breakfast, with the typical continental breakfast items but also including caprese salad! It gave us the energy we needed before checking out to walk up the Scala Fenicia. The only regret we have is not booking more than one night at this amazing hotel, grazie mille Alex!"

"The view is simply amazing. The staff led by Eva and Giuseppe were beyond helpful, before, during, and after our stay. They recommended wonderful adventures and dining experiences. It is, however, a climb to get to and from the property, but the view makes it worthwhile."
