"We often visit but this was our first stay. Was disappointing that accommodation was on a difficult piece of land away from the restaurant and cultural heritage museum. Was too much effort early mornings to trek kms away for our paid breakfast so we didn't have any. Couldn't shower as all showers are outside (too cold to venture outside) and bath water didn't heat up. Furniture needs tlc. Headboard in main room was not clean. No microwave To heat a quick meal. " Nice short stay. 40 min drive to Cape Town and to airport so wasn’t bad for early drive for the flight. Air conditioning wasn’t working on arrival but it was fixed for our second night. No air con was on at breakfast which would have been nice but the breakfast was nice. Didn’t stay long enough to use facilities but overall a lovely location and nicely presented hotel "
