The property is on the Guadalupe river and an easy walk to Gruene Hall, plus adorable shops and amazing restaurants! Go to Gruene Door…the food is world class! The River City grill has great food and you will feel like you stepped back in history! The staff at both places are truly special…warm and welcoming. Kora-Kora for coffee, yummy scones and muffins. This trip was a combination work (writing retreat) and of course, a lil’ Texas fun! If I had imagined a place to reset my nervous system-this is it! "
