CASA ANA: Very quiet with garden and pool to relax

"A huge thank you to our host Maria who has been nothing but welcoming and offered swift and helpful communication throughout. Casa Ana was very clean and tidy on arrival with all of the amenities a family of four (my wife and I and two mid-teen boys) needed. Cool and calm inside thanks to effective AC in all bedrooms and the Living area. The garden in particular is a highlight. An absolute oasis packing so many different aspects - pool, patio, shaded areas, swing seat, hammock, lime trees, fresh tomatoes and herbs. We spent a lot of time in and around it. And very private - no property overlooking it at all. Burguillos is charming. Big enough to have some amenities, but not overbearing. And not touristy at all, which was what we were after. Seville (only a half hour drive away) gave us everything we needed in terms of the more expected sights - we found it to be a beautiful and very well kept city with an abundance of cultural highlights. It has genuinely been one of the best family holidays we’ve had, and a place we’d love to return to at some point. Thank you Maria!"

"This was a great hotel for travel to the airport. My wife and I only stayed a night but we were impressed by the general ambiance and the excellent staff who worked very hard to provide a high level of service. We particularly liked the main restaurant which was very impressive. We had steaks cooked to perfection! Our room was very comfortable and recently renovated. Due to our flight times we didn't manage breakfast. No hesitation in returning there if an early morning start is required for the airport. Probably a bit far out to base a holiday trip to Central Seville but I would imagine it to be a great venue for business trips and conferences."

"We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful property. We loved the pool and the yard is filled with flowering bushes and fruit trees. Easy walk to groceries and restaurants, although we mostly ate at the property with it’s well-equipped kitchen. So grateful to our hosts as they left us some provisions since we arrived on a Sunday. Loved our stay…great memories!"

"Beautiful space with wonderful grounds. So much space and most of it wasn’t utilised. The rooms were all great and the kitchen was very well equipped as was the BBQ area. Plenty of loungers and a wonderful pool. Games room and also board games provided. A wonderful stay."

Historic patrician country house with exceptional location

"Since 2014, Olé Adventures has been organising Spanish language immersion retreats for adults, and this time we had the pleasure of staying at El Triguero. What an incredible find!This beautiful patrician house is full of charm and history. The rooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning, making the stay very comfortable. The living areas, kitchen, and lounge are very generous in size, with a lovely fireplace and beautiful traditional decor. The gardens are absolutely stunning — a riot of colour with blooming flowers, fruit trees, and peaceful corners that make you feel like you’re living inside a painting. The property even has its own charming chapel, adding a lovely historical touch.We made excellent use of the swimming pool during our five-day stay, as the weather was perfect. We also enjoyed the table tennis and the large pitch for badminton and football.What truly made the experience special were the hosts, Carmen and Jose. They are genuinely warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Carmen even helped us prepare a delicious paella for the whole group (10 people)! Their kindness and hospitality were outstanding.A huge thank you to Anneli and Eduardo for maintaining El Triguero so beautifully — keeping its traditional character while making it modern and welcoming.We all left completely enchanted by this hidden gem. I’m already planning our next retreat here!Gracias y volveremos pronto!"
