I have stayed at a few other comparable hotels in Centro. This by far is the best option. The location is great not only because it's close to the historic district, but also because it's one block back off the main road making it way more quiet than the other similar hotels. The staff here is accommodating, welcoming, and responsive. The one thing that could be improved would be adding small refrigerators in the rooms. It was 38°c outside and would be nice to be able to come back to some cold drinks. When we asked for ice, we were charged 30 pesos for it. Not a huge deal, but would be nice to have a fridge or free ice. We stayed five nights and did not need the in-house internet that much because we have Mexican cell phones, but for foreign travelers know that the internet at the hotel is not the strongest, so maybe not suitable for business travelers. All that said, we've already booked rooms for Day of the Dead, so obviously we enjoyed our stay.

1st of all we booked a king size bed and they gave us a room with 2 full size beds. we requested to get it fixed and they said it would have to be until another day because everything was booked. Once they finally switched us over the pillows on the new room were hard! 2nd, their parking policy is all over the place. One day they did valet, next day they told us to park ourselves, third day they didn’t want to stamp our parking pass because we didn’t check it in with valet. 3rd, if you need an iron you have to get one downstairs and leave your ID or $200 pesos.
