Friendly staff, convenient location if visiting the centro histórico.
It's ok. In a really good area sites wise, easy to get around and look at everything. The woman running the hostel is awesome, and there's a map of the best dites to help you make sure you see everything. However, the place itself is pretty simple and there's no privacy. It's clean, but uncomfortable, and I couldn't shower. Small breakfast, no eggs. Really go only if your looking for somewhere to crash imo.
Good points. Budget price for last minute stay. Welcoming and helpful reception staff . Clean place, filter coffee at breakfast good.
Room 210, shower power very poor. Water only warmed once out of 4 attempts. Small room no heat , just one thin blanket.
Neighbourhood not pleasant for holiday travellers and 40 minutes walk to Cathedral. No close good eateries.
On depature charged 125pesos as having scratched my head, pillow case had 2 spots of blood .
A Hostel that is more like a home. I loved this place, private room and bath with a common kitchen, patio, roof top grill! Very nice people run this hostel in the heart of Guadalajara. Will be back!
This is my fifth time at this hostel, its clean, quiet, and really well located in the heart of the City. I truly enjoy staying here, its basic, but I feel very comfortable and safe while staying here. The rooftop terrace is perfect for afternoon beer. I will definitely be back.
This was my third visit to this Hostel. It is safe, clean and very comfortable. If you are looking for a basic room with a private bath this is perfect. They have a communal kitchen and public areas. Everyone is very nice. I highly recommend this location.
The reality is that this has become my home away from home, its quiet, comfortable, the owners are super nice and make you feel at home. If you want to keep to yourself the place is big enough that you can, or you can make friends with the other guests staying there. The communal kitchen is fantastic and you keep your stuff there and not worry about anything. There is a little shop at the corner where you can get drinks, snacks and the neighborhood is really quiet and safe. Simply love staying here and highly recommend it.
Unfortunately I fell off the steps coming down the restroom. I don’t think those stairs are safe. Especially how slippery it was. Never again am I staying here unfortunately. Not to mention the light, my husband kept running into because it’s hanging very low In the middle of the room. Those stairs going on don’t feel safe at all 🙁
This was my fourth visit to this hostel, that should say it all. I was able to get my favorite room and really enjoy the peace and quiet of the location. Remember this is a hostel, but frankly I feel that you get a lot more for your money. Having a share kitchen is so cool and the patio and balconies are great. Miriam, I believe she is the owner, is super nice and helpful with any questions you may have. The neighborhood is residential but very quiet and safe. I will be back.
