"This hotel is a DUMP. I am so MAD and I feel duped, I actually should get part of my money refunded. This hotel shouldn’t have gotten any positive reviews because it is misleading and Expedia should take it off. It is dated, the carpet is DIRTY AND SMELLS. The rooms are tight, and you could LITERALLY SMELL THE TOILET IN THE ROOM WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOOR( it is a toilet plumbing issue). Thank God we had 2 rooms so I ran to the other room which was tolerable, but there was no avoiding the DINGY, MOLDY, SMELLING CARPET. That smell permeated the corridors and everywhere. Imagine laying on the bed and you get a whiff of the toilet hitting you in the face😡😡😡😡, it was HORRIBLE. Roaches downstairs by the elevator in the entrance. The food was VERY DISAPPOINTING, we ate toast everyday because there was nothing else edible. Pretty much every breakfast item was a traditional Taiwanese item there was no room for compromise for those that their palate is not use to Taiwanese meals. We were so tired from traveling and jet lagging we couldn’t wait to leave. We were suppose to go back but I cancelled my other reservations. The only good thing with this place is the location. Taipei main station is close by so also is Xiaminding. I NEED A PARTIAL REFUND BECAUSE THIS HOTEL IS A DUMP AND I FEEL CHEATED. I don’t think I can ever put into words how disappointing and disgusting this place really is, never."
