Beautiful hotel with large rooms. Breakfast was fantastic. The hotel has great location next to the metro station and a coffee shop around the corner. About 15 minutes from Canton fair by taxi. The hotel staff were super excellent. We forgot few items in the cabinet in our room by mistake, they called within 2 hours from checking out, I was in a business meeting, and we arranged for the items to be sent to our next hotel. It arrived within 24 hours. Big thanks to all the staff.

The hotel condition is excellent. The rooms are very large with them amazing views of the city. It’s my fourth trip to Guangzhou and the first time that I’m staying at the Westin but for all my future visits I’m certain I’ll be staying only here.

The hotel is excellent and have good English speaking staff. However, malls around the hotel is small and don’t have many shops. But 1 subway-stop-away from the city’s shopping area. The subway is not to far but you need to cross the big road to use the escalator. If you have big luggages, this might be a problem.

Almost Perfect

Definitely a high end busy international hotel. Common spaces are grand and well kept. Rooms are spacious and well laid out. The main issue is that the rooms are definitely in need of refurbishment. No doubt they were beautiful 15 years ago, but they show too much wear. Way too much caulk smeared over every crack in the bathrooms and chipped and old furniture, and worn carpets. Tip: 15 minute walk to East train station area to huge shopping mall with endless restaurants and largest grocery store I’ve ever seen.
