"I loved it, the cactus garden outside my bedroom window, the rustic nature of the place and our host's care and friendliness. The place was clean, with a well equipped kitchen including a water filter tap. Lovely to be able to light a fire in the stove when chilly in the evening. Gautiza is very pretty and quiet. Discovered an area to swim nearby towards the end of the trip. And a wonderful coastal walk. The location is great. Highly recommend Sylvia's as a place to stay. "

"Pros: We really enjoyed the stay. The location was perfect for us with a short drive to everywhere (having a rented car). The little sitting place in front of the house is absolutely gorgeous - I have not felt relaxed like this in a long time. It's completely quiet at night. Oscar and his parents were lovely and very helpful. Their recommendations of restaurants were spot on. If we ever come back to Lanzarote, we'll definitely stay there again. "We stayed in room 220 on 1st floor. About 15 steps to room. (In 3 sections). No lifts. I have walking difficulties but steps we ok. Room clean & basic. Large corner balcony overlooking the sea. Air con in lounge. On arrival Maria had left key's & instructions for us, easy! Pool area nice, clean & peaceful. Other than breakfast option which we didn't use. There is no food or drink service on site. But supermarket outside was very good for supplies. For someone with walking issue...
