Gubbio is a pleasant enough town, with an impressive main piazza some way up the hill. However, there are nearby towns with more to offer, such as Perugia The annual Festa dei Ceri is on 15 May at about 11am & 6pm, but little in between!

It is an incredible city built right into the mointain. The streets and sights are just like postcards everywhere you look.
