"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

"Very well equipped and very clean apartment. Set on hillside within walking distance (10 minutes) from town. Steep on way back but you could use car, we are in our 70’s and not a problem. "Dominique’s apartment was perfect for our stay in Gerardmer. It was beautifully presented and had so many personal pictures and ornaments all with a “New York” theme. We would go out in to the surrounding countryside everyday and then return late in the afternoon to sit out in the garden. We used the bikes that were provided to cycle in Gerardmer and around the lake.
