Lucy is an absolute hoot- very welcoming and full of suggestions of things to see or do. Perfect for dogs too, with a lovely enclosed garden and lots of walks from the location detailed in the information folder. Lots of lovely pubs nearby too including a local just across the way. A hole in the wall, electric socket not working, disgusting unwashed curtains, peeling paint everywhere, cracked sink, mould all over the shower head, broken wardrobe. The only plus was the bed...

The hotel was a little tired around the edges in decor, but overall, it was not terribly expensive, with friendly staff and a nice breakfast. The room was very hot!. There are a lot of really poor hotels in Eastbourne. This is definitely one of the better ones."

Young team leader tried her best, but the absence of a senior manager on a Saturday night to throw the fool out was a great shame."
