Magnificent 18th century château, swimming pool , ideal for a get-together

"Les (nombreux) plus : beaux volumes des pièces, deux magnifiques salons, un beau grand salon/salle à manger, nombreux équipements cuisines et lessive, jeux variés et de qualité, literies, vue vers la vallée, taille piscine, accueil sympathique (un peu rapide), belle région avec possibilités de visites, propreté ok (sauf le barbecue qui n'avait pas été nettoyé par les locataires précédents), dialogue avec le propriétaire. Les moins : les extérieurs (abords, accès, chassis, volets) ont besoin d'un bon rafraichissement (dommage, cela rend l'arrivée un peu décevante), les salles de bain sont vieillottes. Suggestion : installer des transats avec parasols près de la piscine. Remarques: la chapelle n'est pas accessible, pas de bain à remous contrairement à l'annonce. Il faut parfois traverser une autre chambre pour arriver à une salle de bain. Nous étions 21 et avons été heureux de louer la maison des gardiens pour que chacun soit à l'aise.Cela dit, dès que l'on accepte (ou apprécie) le côté un peu rustique des extérieurs et des salles de bain, on peut savourer tous les aspects positifs du château qui se révèle un excellent choix pour passer de très belles vacances dans une très belle région."

"This is a lovely hotel. Unfortunately, we arrived during a heat wave and the air conditioning was not working. However, the owner had advised us in advance about the situation and couldn't have been more helpful in aiding a comfortable night's sleep by providing us with two fans. They worked very well and we had a good night's rest. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We had tea and coffee making facilities in our room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again."

"The only issue was at the automated booking in, which didnt recognise my Expedia booking number. However that was resolved by the call via the intercom. The breakfast was great which was a surprise as normally the budget hotels have a poor selection - not here! Bed comfortable too so good nights sleep were had."

"When we arrived at the hotel my husband was not well with stomach problems.The receptionist was so helpful and kind and ordered a pizza for us to be delivered to the hôtel só we would not have to go out to eat.The restaurant in the hotel,is closed over the weekend. He was so kind in every way and we had a pleasant stay there…many thanks to his attitude towards us "
