"This property is absolutely amazing. Beautiful location. Helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast selection of hot and cold options. The views towards Salzburg are fantastic. The rooms are spacious and provide you with nice little touches like two free full size water bottles upon checking in. All in all we would recommend this property as it is close to Salzburg yet gives you a nice break from the tourist crowds."

"The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was the nicest we experienced in all of our travels in Europe. There is no AC in the room though so if it is hot outside be prepared for a warm night’s sleep. There is no elevator. A nice man carried our luggage upstairs for us and the room key was one of those cute old fashioned Ben Franklin Keys. Very charming."

"Room was clean and well kept and the bathroom was very spacious with a very large shower. The breakfast was amazing with a large selection of different options, including cooked to order omelets and other egg selections. Views from the outdoor seating on the 6th floor are amazing - perfect view of the fortress and some other key landmarks. Great location, easy to get everywhere, short 5 - 10 minute walk to the old town."

"It was 36 deg in Salzburg and the hotel room they gave us bad no air conditioning. We were burning hot for the 2-1/2 days we stayed there. With great pressure, they gave us a fan (thank you Helmut) and promised they will change our room after the first night of pure hell. They DID NOT!! The desk Manager was very impolite and refused to make any concessions saying “you booked thru Expedia - talk to them. We would have given you a big discount or even free stay, so better book with us next time”....

"The hotel is in a quiet location and transport to and from hotel at front door. The local transport is included for your stay and breakfast is ok. The staff were very helpful at the breakfast buffet also. Can highly recommend this hotel to all."

"The room was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. There were no amenities in the room except beds, bedding and towels. The wifi didn't reach that end of the building."
