"Great location. Makes up for the fact it is a little old. Very packed with several conferences when I was there so it was packed. Would stay again just for the location especially with the food street behind the hotel."

"Judging by the pictures you might think this is a classy, well kept hotel on a beautiful lake, right? Wrong. This hotel is pretty old with only a few updated areas. The non smoking rooms wreak of cigarette smoke, the gym is an absolute joke and if you want to swim in the pool, they insist you wear a swimming cap! The western restaurant in the hotel is $20/person per meal and is sub-par at best. The surrounding neighborhood is pretty run down and isn't a great place to take a leisurely stroll."

"The room was spacious, however the bed was hard (expected this from previous hotel visits throughout Asia) and the room was not very sound proof as I was woken several times by noisy neighbours in other rooms. Nice selection of foods at breakfast - both western and Chinese, and laundry was same day service and very cheap for what I had cleaned.
