Exceptional sea view

A wonderful position overlooking the beach. Facing west, the house is flooded with light at sunset. Guilvinec is a very interesting town - highlights are the fishing trawlers daily return to port at 4pm and the market (Sun and Tues) esp the fromagerie and charcuterie vans. The house is quite comfortable though the bedrooms are a little sparse. There was some confusion with the host asking 25 Euros cash for electricity on arrival, when it was actually included in the rental.

Tolle Lage, sensationelles Haus

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Ferienhaus Men Meur. Madame L.G. ist sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Die direkt am Strand ist sensationell. Das Haus selber ist groß, man hat viel Platz, die Betten sind bequem, alles ist sauber, die Duschen eine Wohltat, die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet. Jeden Abend haben wir auf der Terrasse zu Abend gegessen und zum Nachtisch den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Um dann auf dem überdachten Balkon den Tag auf den Liegen ausklingen zu lassen.

Natur pur vor dem Fenster

Die Lage des Hauses in vorderster Front mit Blick nach Westen ist sehr schön. Der davor liegende Parkplatz und die Durchgangsstraße vor dem Haus haben einigen Lärm verursacht. Das Haus war sehr geräumig und bot alles, was man brauchte. Einige Mängel waren, dass der Wasserhahn an der Spüle bei unkundiger Bedienung herausfiel, sich aber wieder einfügen ließ, ebenso schloss das Eisfach nicht und der Kühlschrank setzte Eis an. Beides war der Vermieterin bekannt, wie wir am letzten Tag erfuhren.

Die Unterkunft hat sehr gut ge...

Die Unterkunft hat sehr gut gefallen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, wie auch der Rest des Hauses. Beim Kochen dann den Sonnenuntergang genießen ist in diesem Haus einfach ein Muss. Reisetipps: Genieße das Finistere. Wer in die Bretagne fährt, weiß auch warum.

Da wir leider kaum Französisch...

Da wir leider kaum Französisch sprechen, hätte ich mir einige Informationen zum Haus (z.B. Wann müssen die Mülltonnen raus?) als (mehrsprachiges) Infoblatt gewünscht. Ansonsten war alles prima. Reisetipps: Warme Sachen nicht vergessen, damit man die Bretagne in vollen Zügen genießen kann ;–)

Ich muss den bisherigen Bewert...

Ich muss den bisherigen Bewertungen leider etwas widersprechen.Das Haus ist schön und die Lage direkt am Meer ist klasse. Leider war Die Sauberkeit nicht ganz so, wie wir uns das gewünscht hätten....Bei der Ankunft wurden wir zudem etwas unfreundlich empfangen, da wir 45 Minuten früher vor der Tür standen. Die Schlüsselübergabe sollte erst zwischen 16 und 18 Uhr erfolgen.Leider war die Besitzerin auch immer nur über die Mailbox ihres Handys zu erreichen. So wollten wir am Abreisetag eigentlich um 07.00 Uhr morgens abreisen, das war ihr zu früh. Wir haben uns dann auf 08.00 Uhr geeinigt. Leider kam sie dann aber erst mal gar nicht zur vereinbarten Zeit. Nach dem dritten Anruf aufs Handy haben wir sie dann wohl aufgeweckt und sie ist erst um 09.00 Uhr zur Abnahme gekommen. Das hat uns alles sehr geärgert.Das Haus selbst ist schön, die Sonnenuntergänge von der Küche aus zu beobachten ein Traum.Küchengeräte und Geschirr sind genügend vorhanden. Reisetipps: Die Bretagne ist wunderschön.Wir haben Quimper, Concarneau, Brest und Le Conquet besucht. Alle Städte haben uns prima gefallen und sind eine Reise wert.Des Weiteren sind die weitläufigen Sandstrände klasse, wir haben viele Strand Wanderungen unternommen.Wir würden jederzeit wieder in die Bretagne reisen....

Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgest...

Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Lage des Hauses ist spitze! Jederzeit gerne wieder! Reisetipps: Bei gutem Wetter unbedingt auf den Phare d'Eckmuehlr steigen. Die Anstrengung für die knapp 300 Stufen wird durch eine tolle Aussicht belohnt!
