Also, cleaning staff didn’t replace water in room. We had the room with a hot tub, the water was warm at best. Not a “hot” tub. For people accustomed with the Napoli litoral/Amalfi coatt this is a pretty good place to stay and go to nearby villages. Not a good vacation beach place. Very busy for the month of May."

"Hotel Savoia was our favorite hotel that we stayed at during our entire Italy trip. Such a cozy and special hotel in Positano, located in a central and convenient location. Less than 10 minutes walk down to the beach and bus stop, with lots of shopping nearby. Staff is so friendly and helpful. They assisted us with our ferry transportation due to cancellations from windy/rainy weather, restaurant recommendations, and any questions we had during check-in and check-out. "The hotel was wonderful, room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed using the balcony during our stay. Getting to the hotel was challenging since I was with elderly parents who had difficulty walking up steps. There were two ways to get to the hotel, either go up 250 steps from their sister hotel or go around the city via local bus (also a walk from the pier) then take 70 steps down to the hotel. The hotel did have a free porter service which was wonderful. "

"The highlight of this hotel is the wonderful outside space. The lemon grove where you can have a meal or simply sit and relax with a drink is fantastic. The staff overall are very friendly and helpful but, at busy times, we found it difficult to get service whilst sat outside for a drink. The bar area was great & food was very good. The pool area was also beautiful too. Staff were courteous, professional and friendly, especially Antonio in the bar who took care of us every night! Overall an exceptional place to stay in Sand’angello, Italy! Loved it!"
