Came for Cruisin the Coast very convenient to Cruise Central and Beach Boulevard. Parking lot is a perk, didn’t have to park on the street. Quiet room and staff friendly and welcoming. Would recommend in the future.

Our stay at Hotel Vela was amazing. Great customer service and everything neat and clean. The best shower I have ever taken. Nice strong water pressure. Location is within walking distance of various restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

We definitely enjoyed our stay, we had a great night sleep in a very comfortable bed. The ac kept us very cool and the extra amenities were the best! I highly recommend staying here!

I only got to stay one night, so I was super disappointed I couldn't stay longer. The staff was cheerful and extremely accommodating, especially the front desk clerk who called me before the 4:00 pm check in time to tell me I could come early at no extra charge if I needed to. She also gave me excellent directions to places to eat and things to do, and a new parking pass when mine flew out of the window! The room was very nice and immaculately clean. The only thing I did not like was a slightly leaky air conditioner over the edge of the bed leaving a small puddle on the floor, but that was minimal and tells you how comfortable we were able to make ourselves in the room. This place is 11/10! I will definitely revisit.

The entire vibe of this place is top notch. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk workers were very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were fantastic. We can’t wait to come back!

Cool boutique hotel. Liked the decor. A/c difficult to figure out. Never did get it super cool in room. Might be why 2 fans are supplied in room. Railway a block away was heard and felt through out stay. And another noise we could not pin point. On the A/C, we did ask desk clerk about it. Was given some pointers but still unable to cool room. It was early September and hot outside so that contributed to temperature. She did offer to come check it if needed. The bar staff was fantastic! Social and entertaining. Suggested place to watch football game in the area. Hotel positioned close to places within walking distance, such as church and breakfast cafes. No blow dryer and Nescafé dispenser cool looking but not flavorful. Summary- cool place to stay just a few quirky annoyances…

We really loved this spot! It was the perfect little staycation for us and the fact that you can get a 5 star meal just downstairs made it a 10/10 experience. Clean, comfy rooms. Staff was so kind and welcoming! We will definitely be back ❤️

Super cute small boutique hotel. Very clean, loved it. Only improvements is maybe some sound proofing and full blackout curtains but it really was a great place to stay and we’ll definitely stay again.
