"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"Neighbourhood was great with proximity to forest paths, river and the famous Titisee and Schluchsee. The "detached quiet cottage for 4" left a lot to be desired. Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing...

Martin and Petra could not have been more gracious hosts! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and had everything we might need. Already looking forward to our next visit! "We just returned today from a 5-day stay at Siebenfelsen. The host family was very hospitable and generally welcoming. The house is immaculately clean and lovingly and thoughtfully decorated. The street the house is on a two lovely Gasthäuser within walking distance and is only a short drive away from the main village of Elzach, which is just gorgeous. We highly recommend staying here and would love to be back again in the future."

Tolle Vermieterin, die sich kümmert. Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die Ravennaschlucht, zum Titisee und zum Feldberg. Hinterzarten 40 Minuten zu Fuß, super Spaziergang. Genügend Restaurants fussläufig vorhanden. Absolute Empfehlung!!!"

"The house is in an excellent location, quiet and yet close to attractions of the black forest. The landlady was very nice. The kitchen is very well equiped, with all you need for cooking and eating your meals at home. There's also a washing machine, that's very helpful if you're traveling for a long time.
