On the edge of the village, explore the Tamar Trails Centre (3.5 miles), from where you can start circular walks exploring Devon Great Consols, once the largest copper supplier in Europe. The centre is a fantastic starting point for all kinds of hikes and bike rides in the area and the Tamra Way passes close by. Also nearby is Calstock (4.5 miles), home to a spectacular viaduct and charming pubs and cafes along the riverbanks. This is a perfect destination to aim for when exploring the surrounding footpaths and tree-lined bridleways.
