Great little cabin on the river. The backyard is beautiful and nicely thought out. A great stay for a long weekend with family.

Quiet solitude

Beautiful spot. So enjoyable to watch nature happen out the back windows. Nice to be close to town, but not hassled by traffic or noise. Would definitely return to this location.

The view of the river from the yard was amazing. The house is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting Crested Butte which was only a half hour away.

Perfect!

We loved everything about this house. It’s so “Gunnison!” The river is just the frosting. If we needed something, it was there. We loved the large dinning table and kitchen. Drinking a glass of wine with my family under the aspens while watching my son in law fish in the river after a day of hiking, etc. Perfect!

Location is awesome, not too close to town to make it private. Close enough for convience. Took a trip for snagging season. Unfortunately there really wasnt any to snag. We ended up fishing instead and caught some nice trout

Perfect place to stay.

The house has everything needed to enjoy a few days or longer. The house was clean and well taken care of. The beds and bedding clean and in excellent condition. I loved having the washer and dryer to use . The outside area is perfect for warm evenings, the deck was oversized for guests. This is a cabin home, quiet with an excellect homey feel! We will definitely be staying again! Thank you!

Gunny house

The kitchen was well stocked with everything for cooking. Bath was nice and clean. Only con was only 1 bath for 5-6 people. But it wasn't a problem. Having a fire in the firepit was a plus. The host kept us informed on everything.

Great location on the Gunnison

If you are looking for a spotless modern house where everything is new pass on this. If you want a place that is funky, well equipped and well located you cant beat this cabin. It's right on a fishy bend in the river with miles of bike trails out your back door. The options for adventures are limitless. The host was very responsive to any and all questions.

The perfect spot

This was a great spot for my family. We celebrated my mom's 70th birthday. The house had everything that we needed. It was very quiet when we were there. I like how close to town we were. The street that the house is on was a bit busy, but we were there over the 4th of July. The neighbors to the right and left were so nice. Fast and easy communication when I had questions. I loved the view of the river. We would love to come back again!

Graduation trip

The property was beautiful. The home is very lovely and roomy. I wasnt happy with the lack of cleaning. It was very dusty and stuffy. The fire place made a very load noise, so we couldn't use it. The Bbq grill was dirty. We had to do a mild cleaning before using it and the firepit was caked with Soot. Very dangerous level. The host was very Accommodatingand very pleasant. We truly enjoyed our stay. Its a beautiful location.

Relaxing Week by the River

House was comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard by the river after coming back from our day hikes up in the mountains. Location was good as we could easily run into Gunnison for supplies, only 30 minutes from Crested Butte, and another 30 minutes to many of the surrounding trail heads. Only real complaint was road noise from Rt. 135, which was worse during commute hours, but did subside at night. Alain was very responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure all was well. Overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and look forward to our next visit.
