Staff was very nice. Location was great.

Because we never stayed at a Han-ok (traditional Korean house), we had ambivalent feeling about staying in Sam-lock-hon (easy to pronounce this way), which means three-blessing house. The three blessings traditionally include having healthy parents and siblings, no shame or guilty thing toward others, and having bright disciples. When we stepped through its gate, we became realized that we made a right choice. We enjoyed three types of joy before, during, and after our stay at Sam-lock-hon. As...

Amazing breakfast. It was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip to Jeonju. The room is extremely warm even in cold winter. We got a free upgrade to the room due to our luggage size. The owner is friendly and attentive! I would love to stay here again for my next trip to Jeonju. Highly recommended!

A kind host!

This home was so charming, clean, and perfectly located for walking around town. I loved that we were on a quaint alley away from the nightlife but close to all the sites. And the owners spent a long while helping us pick where to go. Really wonderful people. Wish they were my grandparents lol so I could visit their cute home. My only regret is only staying one night.

It's an experience worth having.

The owner greeted us at the front entrance so that our taxi could easily find the Hanok. She walked us to our room, explained how everything worked, suggested a time for her to deliver breakfast the next morning, then handed us a tour map. We had the family room, even though there were just two of us. We had a queen sized futon on a bed frame. It was super comfortable. The room had two bathrooms. It was even stocked with toothpaste and a hair dryer. There was a room nearby where you could fix...

Loved it. Traditional yet. Charming experience. Host was awesome. He went out if his way to make our stay enjoyable. Continental breakfast was appreciated, and we still went out for breakfast, but didn't have to rush because we had a little something to get us by. Recommend as the price is low and the experience was a great one. Very very clean. Also private bath was a plus, extremely clean bathroom. Would stay again at Laon Hanok.

Nice spot right next to Nambu Market, and not too far from the Hanok Village. Check-in process is a little strange: you basically find the proprietress in her restaurant below the guesthouse and she'll bring you in. Good amount of amenities though and has a nice homey feel.

For a solo

Dana Haru Guesthouse WOW! Words can’t express how magnificent this place and its location are. I’m a semi-retired traveler exploring South Korea for 26 days on a budget, and if I had known about Jeonju Hanok Village sooner, I would have stayed four nights instead of two. The location is fabulous, and the guesthouse is perfectly organized with excellent communication. The area feels very safe—which may sound obvious, but coming from the United States, it’s something we truly appreciate. The...

I don’t know how this place gets 9.3 reviews, so tiny and towels were smelling.

It was very quiet. Nice place to stay one or two nights.

We were very blessed to have come here! Although we never met YK in person, he was able to communicate throughout the whole stay via phone, SMS and KakaoTalk, and answered all of our questions. We had no idea how to make it down to a trailhead at Jirisan National Park two hours away, but he gave us detailed directions and with his advice got there so quickly and efficiently we were amazed. They are so kind and helpful, and run such a great little hanok stay. I would unreservedly recommend...

Great location, very friendly staff. Would cone back again!
