"We stayed here for my daughter's navy graduation. This property was clean, comfortable, and stocked with essentials. I highly recommend. "

"We traveled from STL for a concert at the Genesee Theatre and stayed for the night. We had some beers at a local tavern, ubered easily to and from the theatre, and had an authentic Mexican breakfast down the street. We prepared a late night snack in the equipped kitchen, slept late in our comfy beds, and were cozy warm. "

"We arrived 8-7-2024 to such a clean & perfect property for our family. Our sailor had plenty of room to chill out & relax. When my sailor found out he had an additional day of leave, it worked out for the host & adding a day was not a problem. I highly recommend this property. "

"The owner of the property was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Our family has stayed at two houses from the owner and each house is beautiful and well taken care of. Two graduations from Navy boot camp and two pleasant stays! I would recommend this house or any other of the owners properties."

"The lakehouse super nice, owner communicated well, overall Good experience. A bit of feedback because the coffee machine was missing the pot so we had to go out to buy some. It was also a bit dusty. Check out was 11am and I received a text at 8:30am that cleaning crew was on the way so it felt rushed. Also, I would rather pay a cleaning fee (I understand garbage being taken out and cleaning up tables). Overall nice experience and owner did let us know jacuzzi was a bit stained from leaves so we...

"Came into town for a bridal shower, house was very clean and very comfortable loving space. Excellent amenities, more than we needed. Kitchen was very well equipped which we appreciated as we did a lot of cooking. Games were definitely utilized!"

"In town for a conference, the stay was absolutely what we were looking for and more. All of the restaurants nearby are delicious, the bathrooms were spotless, a nice large kitchen, and each bed was so comfortable. The easy to use self grinding coffee machine was a plus!"

"We stayed here for my son’s graduation from Navy boot camp. It was perfect and in such a great location! Although it is about 25 minutes from the Great Lakes Naval Academy, it was worth it for the beautiful neighborhood and quiet location. The restaurants they had just a few minutes away in Grayslake were wonderful. Jon was a great host and texted right at check-in time. The house is adorable, well stocked with amenities and the beds are comfy. I would definitely recommend to anyone! "
