"It was cold, dark and the rain had started to fall. We were late arriving but that was no trouble. The staff were friendly and hospitable and suggested the restaurant within the complex for our dinner. Brilliant ! Some delicious options there. The room was basic but was clean had everything we needed. A mattress topper wouldn’t go astray. Tea and coffee and bikkies appreciated ! Above all fantastic service from the team."

"My husband and I have busy lives and this Yurt experience was only a one hour drive from home. We were blessed with a 12 o'clock check out enabling us to enjoy more of the day. The hosts were contactable but not visible which we love. The Yurt and the attention to detail is perfect. Breaky was yummy and there were plenty of blankets for a cozy stay. It rained and it actually added to the time away. Thank you "

"Gympie has always been Bogan City and it was interesting that after 20 years since my last stay, nothing has changed except for the creation of another bogan generation. Gympie is over represented in utes and pickups. The bigger the pickup, clearly in my mind is the diminished size of that persons manhood. The utes and pickups are belching, noisy, are constantly laying down rubber and it appears they must display multiple aerial's and beer decals along the sides. It also appears nobody walks anywhere in Gympie as I was the only person who walked the 45 minutes return walk to the local Aldi without encountering anyone else. The motel room is quirky, there’s a lift to take you to the first floor and the twist? One of the drivers of the before-mentioned utes with multiple aerials, multiple headlights and beer decals unexpectedly gave way to me waiting at an intersection and courteously waved me on…"

"What an amazing peaceful place. We stayed 2 nights here for Mother’s Day weekend, my wife and 2 little girls and pretty much had the property to our selfs. Cabin was clean and had a good feel to it. My little girls loved the cows and horses coming up to the fence line every day, we walked down to the creek wich is beautiful and tranquil and the horses came up to us for a pat wich was an amazing experience for the girls. Will definitely come back and bring some friends to fill the other cabins for a great time. "

"The Nest was a lovely place to stay. Good location and very quiet and peaceful. The main bedroom has a good bed and lovely linen. The kitchen is well stocked. Only recommendation I would make is for some outdoor relaxing furniture for those of us who just want to laze around and read books! Otherwise, a lovely stay."
