"This was a very bizzare property. It’s NOT a hotel. It’s a 3 Bedroom apartment with locking bedroom doors. There is a common living room and common kitchen. The property is run from an office in Italy and they don’t do well with English. The wi-fi was terrible and the beds were awful. The property location is NOT correct on the Hotels.com app. We ended up going to the wrong area then having to call another car to get to the actual location. "A few years since our last visit - and we were greeted with an enormous building site in front of the hotel & 2 gigantic apartment blocks towering over the hotel !! Not what we were remembering at all & no information from the hotel/booking company regarding this, our room looked straight at the building site!!! We asked to move rooms which the hotel did do after a few days and we had a beautifully refurbished room. Fortunately there was minimal construction noise. The hotel staff were excellent as friendly and helpful as ever. Great restaurants. We did think though the addition of a late bar with music would be good for those who don’t want to walk down to the bay as all areas close at 10.30pm, though with the new hotel opening next door guests will go there instead. We were also slightly concerned by the hotel allowing groups of teenagers to stay who had obviously just finished their exams and didn’t seem to fit with the hotels vibe. But that said we had a good stay."
