Great host. clean rooms. delicious breakfast

when we first arrived at Halo Homestay - we were concerned because it was not in a very nice area. We didn't realise how big Halong Bay city is. we were expecting sleepy little fishing village!! NOT!! there are 2 distinct areas 1. locals 2. tourists. This homestay is in the locals area. Its not a pretty area by a long shot but our lovely host Hien made up for it by taking us on a tour to one of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen. she gave us a free tour of her hometown and we felt very differently about the place once we got to hear her stories. definitely worth staying here prior to joining a Halong Bay cruise as its just down the road rather than long haul from Hanoi.

ホテルやゲストハウスと違って、一般の家庭に泊まるのですが、部屋やシャワールームがとても綺麗で、かつ、ホストマザーがベトナムの家庭料理を夕食に出してくれたので普通とは少し違った貴重な体験ができた。また、タクシーの手配や周辺の観光スポットのおすすめもしてくれて、助かった。
