"Hotel is a little more worn than images show, but the location is excellent. Balcony was a nice touch, but I didn't learn about it until my last night as the hotel didn't mention it when showing me the room."

"I sincerely advocate anyone who plans to travel to Bhutan (either on your own or by agent) MUST talk with Karma, the owner of this hotel. I compared the quotes (private rides and tour guide) from more than 10 agents, and Karma gave me the lowest and fairest, which is 1/3 or 1/4 of some "more seemingly high-end" tour agencies. Besides, she is extremely responsive and caring. Back to the hotel room, this hotel is THE MOST Cost-effectiveness hotel in entire Bhutan --- you get more than you paid. It is clean with fair price and amazing service. Last, the social classes in Bhutan is dramatically split. You can see extremely foreign travelers coming here, burning their dollars in a $1000 USD hotel while the locals are barely making the minimum wages. I sincerely hope that whoever are viewing my reviews might take a chance to reach out to locals like Karma and her friends and take their service, who are hardworking and genuine. "

"Good property situated very close to the pedestrian terminal and the immigration office in Pheuntsholing."

"The property is at a walking distance from the immigration and pedestrian entrance if entering from India border to Bhutan. The cleanliness can be improved and lighting. Room size was big and spacious however it was lacking lights (only had a blub on top and two bed lamps ). In bathroom the water taps were leaking and the shower head was tied with rubber packing and while adjusting the head I feared it might fall out or get broken completely. Staff was friendly, helping and well Natured."

"This hotel is located in a very peaceful location, away from the downtown shops and market. The taktsang monastery is visible from the hotel, the hotel is surrounded by hills and beautiful scenery. I really enjoyed my stay here."

"This hotel is in one of the best locations possible, by the gurgling river Paro, along which you can stroll at leisure after the brilliant high-tea the chefs here serve. The rooms are great, and the hospitality team led by the manager Ugyen Wangchuk (special mention to wait staff, Tashi Tobgay) is really good at their jobs. The whole kitchen staff led by Chef Satyajit and Rahi are so welcoming and good. Ugyen Dorji at the coffee shop is always ready with fun conversation. We really enjoyed the Chef’s hospitality and great cooking. We didn’t anticipate our trip to Bhutan to be a good food trip, but the chefs here have gone above and beyond to ensure we have a great time!"
