"Wir waren eine Woche bei Otto Schardt im Försterhaus zu Gast. Das Verhältnis zum Vermieter und seinen Mitarbeitern war von Anfang an super persönlich und angenehm. Es hat uns sogar die "EInkaufsmeile" in Redwitz mit all ihren Besonderheiten erklärt. Das Förserhaus ist klein, aber die beiden Schlafzimmer im Dachgeschoss sind super groß, geräumig und liebenswert. "The only problem of this hotel is lack of blackout drapes. If you are a light sleeper, you will wake up with the sunrise. There is a lot of light in the rooms. Furthermore the hotel is pet-friendly so dogs can wake you up anytime. It is a pity because the beds are really king-size and very comfortable. Breakfast is till 10.30 only so we didn't try. Location of the hotel is perfect and parking is close."

"Overall good place to stay. The only issue was checking in after hours the kiosk outside the lobby area was not there and the door into the lobby was shut and locked. We had to get in there to check into our room from the kiosk. Luckily someone was exiting and let us in to check into our via kiosk."

"I liked the reception desk, the bar, and the staff. The room was adequate for our needs. We liked the the fact that the hotel had air conditioning since the temperature was abnormally very high during out stay. The hotel is centrally located for visiting the old town as well as the rest of Bamberg - a beautiful town and wonderful to visit."
