"お宿から降りてすぐの日の出浜で波の音を聴きながらゆっくり過ごしました。 お宿近くの岡田港の周辺は食事ができるところが元町港に比べて少ないようですが、舟吉さんで2食付き、港の施設のレストランで昼食を取れるので特に問題ありませんでした。私は食べる機会がありませんでしたが近くにはパン屋さんなどもあるようです。 お宿は清潔でご飯も美味しく、ご主人方もとても親切にしてくださいました。その日のスケジュールの相談や荷物預かりなど、心配事を相談すると真摯にお答えくださいます。お宿は山にも近いのですが部屋の窓をしっかり閉めれば虫なども問題なかったです。(もし万が一出たとしてもご主人にお願いすればすぐに対処してくださいます) 個人的な話ですが、初めての女一人旅でこんなに素敵なお宿に宿泊出来たことはとても幸いでした。伊豆大島の一人旅で宿にお悩みの方は是非、ゲストハウス舟吉さんを検討なさってみてください！"

She runs a relaxing and casual property, and because of its small size, it is easy for her to communicate with and assist visitors - which is exactly what she does! I highly recommend this hotel to Oshima tourists who are looking for a quiet, soothing place to unwind and enjoy their stay. All staff members are friendly and will help you as soon as you need something."

"Be anywhere outside of your room and you'd be cold within minutes, unfortunately. I personally also found the downstairs bathroom and washroom to be of a unpleasant design (being even colder with weird staircase shape) On the plus side, the quarter is still confortable and comes with towels at least. "7,5歳の子どもと4人家族で宿泊しました。海開きよりかなり早い宿泊でしたが海は気持ちよく、アクティビティも問題ありませんでした。 施設は至れり尽くせりで、飲み物にほしい氷が揃っていたり、アイスが常備されてたり、花火用のライターが揃っていたり他の宿泊施設では不便を感じるような些細なところまで便利さが行き届いていました。来年も泊まりたいです。"
