"We had a fantastic week in Martin and Petra’s lovely cottage. Lots of great walking (if hilly!) and cycling opportunities. We visited Freiburg, Titisee, Donaueschingen and a few wineries. Enjoyed the visits from the chickens and cats and watching the swallows swoop past. Very restful and highly recommended."

"Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Wir haben die ganze Woche kein Auto benötigt und konnten wandern. Tolle schön ausgebaute Wege und eine wunderschöne Gegend. Die Ferienwohnung war klasse. "We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"Beautiful decor, comfortable beds and everything provided. Charming, quiet neighborhood. Only wish there were towels in the bathroom. We had to find them in the laundry and they were damp. Showe doesn't drain very well."

"We enjoyed a great stay! The village is very close to so many other villages and larger towns in the Alsace. Carmen’s gite is spacious, very comfortable and very well maintained. It is extremely well equipped, there was absolutely everything we needed. We loved knowing our car and bicycles were safe as the fire and parking are behind an electric gated area. You do need a car as there are no amenities within walking distance, Aldi is about 2.5k out of the village. Fabulous for exploring the...
