"We had a fantastic time! Orlando (the owner), his family, and all of the staff were so kind and welcoming! We really enjoyed the thermal longevity circuit, plus we went tubing down the river which was a blast too! "We needed a place to stay after flying in and before driving to La Fortuna the next day but wanted something more authentic/local than the American chains. This place suited our needs. It really is a little oasis in the middle of a pretty run down block on the edge of Liberia. The barbed wire and high fence surrounding the property shocked us a bit, but the rooms all face inwards around a beautiful garden and lovely pool, patio, and hot tub. We felt secure because of the fence and gated parking. The included breakfast was very nice. The restaurant was good, and staff lovely. This is clearly a very old hotel and a bit run down (our bathroom), but everything was very clean and in fine working condition. The kids were very happy and spent hours in the pool after our long travel day."

"There is a lot to do at this resort. Our room was clean, fine/basic, with no air conditioning. It included a good breakfast and hot springs. There were many restaurants on the property, but only two were open. Mirador, which had a beautiful view and plenty of seating. It had good food, but was expensive. The other restaurant was a $30 buffet. The resort is in a remote location, so there are no other dining options within an hour. There are many fun activities to do at a cost. It's cheaper to group your activities in one day and order online. We had a wonderful two-day stay, but it was expensive overall for the stay, dining, and activities. Definitely take advantage of the hot springs and free eco farm. Victor went out of his way during all of our dining experiences to make us feel special. He was the most friendly and helpful employee."
