Very Good

the host/ owner was very friendly; she built the place with much love, and we could feel it in every corner even though we only stayed one night. i would definitely go back next time I am in israel.
This was such a great place to stay. I was here for the end of Passover. The family who runs this place was nice enough to invite me to dinner and it was fantastic.
Everything was excellent. Service is just great. The hotel is kind of a guest house, but very well laid out with privacy in each room since these are divided by a nice garden area. A cozy room with everything necessary with an exterior terrace to relax. You can enjoy a covered jacuzzi in your stay too. The owner was very kind and attentive and, even though it is not stated in hotels.com, the room includes a home cooked Israeli breakfast, delicious.
The Host dorit was incredibly friendly and helped us in everything. Very sweet woman and I am lucky to have met her. The room was adorable and clean with a sitting area outside to have the wonderful breakfast that she cooked. She made us feel like part of the family and gave us a lot of history of her people which we really appreciated. She went the extra mile which is something you don't often see. I would highly recommend her property
Dorit was amazing from the start!! She made me feel at home. Even though I arrived super early from the airport, she agreed to have me go into my room and get some sleep after a long flight :) She even lent me her phone charger adapter !! On my last day, after I spent it at the beach and was not due to leave to the airport until the evening, she let me shower and stay until the cab came. It was so nice to have someone make sure I was happy with my stay!!!
This place is on a dirt road. Once you enter the gate it looks like a junkyard. The “honeymoon room” was ridiculous. A four poster bed with silk flowers. Everything felt humid and wet, especially the bed which also has terrible, hard pillows. The worst part was the offensive owner, who was rude and aggressive. Worst part of Israel trip.
I travel a lot for business and stay 1-2 nights in mostly corporate chains. For this trip, since I was gone for a week, I wanted something that felt more like a vacation. This place was spot on. Ahuzat Shaul is perfectly clean, comfy and provides everything you need... plus charm & Mediterranean personality!
It's set up as a small compound of rooms with nice private decks and separate communal areas for relaxing or socializing. Hot tub for when the nights are colder! Less than 5 minutes to the beach, with lots of shopping nearby. Quick and easy to get to the highway for North-South travel. The pictures shown online are an accurate representation.
The owner, Dorit, is friendly and accommodating and her staff (Hi Jan!) are super polite and attentive. Each room has cold AC, fridge, microwave & everything to help you be comfortable. The breakfasts are varied, fresh and delicious.
It's roughly halfway between Tel Aviv and Haifa with easy access to both.
