"We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'Hotes L'Ancienne Ecole. It is a beautiful period property in the lovely town of La Wantzenau. Katia is an amazing host, with passionate knowledge of the Alsace area. Nothing was too much trouble, with a tasty French breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."

"Person was horrible to deal with and cancelled stay day of. They were asking for money than agreed upon and were extremely rude and demanding. Also they are extremely demanding and expect the customer to bend around there rules and times, whenever is best for them"

"À partir du moment où vous avez en tête que c’est une chambre et non un appartement, qui faut traverser un couloir pour aller dans la salle de bain et toilette ou vous devez passer devant une porte transparente qui donne chez le propriétaire, qui peut sortir a tout moment quand vous êtes en petite serviette sortant de la douche ou en nuisette quand vous sortez des toilettes par exemple, le séjour s’est malgré tout bien déroulé. "Rooms are in a second level and stairs are outside the house exposed to elements. Not for elderly people o persons with limited mobility. Breakfast was very good and complete but again not in the property. You have to walk about 5 minutes in a steeply way. Parking is available in the hotel area. Rooms are big but not very well designed. The hand of and Arquitec is urgently needed to solve so many space distribution errors. Decor is not good. Bathroom is not designed for very tall persons,...
