This well furnished holiday home is located on Michelle Lane just an easy, flat stroll to Hahei beach. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen-size beds, 1 with twin bunks.



The house has a large, well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave and a Breville Barista Espresso Machine for our coffee lovers so make sure to bring your favorite coffee beans.



One bathroom with a toilet and shower and another separate toilet makes life easier for all. The garage has a range of bikes from beginner to adult road bikes and a well used beach cart for taking children and all their gear to the beach. The double kayak has lifejackets, paddles and a beach trolley.



There is a tub at the house which can be used as a baby bath and a high chair for no extra cost. A portacot can be set up with all linen and baby towel for a small fee of $45.00 for your stay. 



The living and dining area are spacious with a stereo, large TV for the sports fans and DVD player for the children. The lounge opens onto a side and front deck, and a big grass yard. This house comes with deck chairs and loungers and a Webber BBQ.





The track to Cathedral Cove, one of the most beautiful beaches in New Zealand, reopened in December  2024. An absolute MUST DO!





Linen and towels are included. Beach towels can be hired for $5.00/each.



Cleaning is also included in the rate, please leave the house tidy.

Awesome location, easy walk to beach and town centre. Also really appreciated the quick response from Tina when we were having some trouble with the tv, she responded straight away and fixed the issue swiftly. Could not have asked for a better stay.

What a charming place to stay. A cosy homely vibe, warm and inviting. A short stroll to the beach and to the town centre. Hahei is a delightful place to stay. Communication with Tina was exceptional. Wonderful suggestions of leisurely strolls, places for the morning caffeine supply, and marvellous meals. If 6 stars was a thing I'd have pushed that button in a heartbeat. Truly exceptional service.

Classic Kiwi beach house with everything you need.

We enjoyed our family holiday very much. The house is cozy and comfortable with a short walk to the beautiful Hahei beach. The campground nearby was had delicious woodfired pizza to order at night which was an added bonus.

A house full of character and charm

This charming place reminded us of our own holiday cottage on the Norfolk coast. The wood panelling made the place feel warm and cozy despite the cold nights. Really well equipped - some extra heaters for the bedrooms would have made things even cosier. Great main living room space and THAT chair - so nice to sit in. Nice and close to the beach.

We had a great week in Hahei staying at this bach with our 3 children.

We had a great week in Hahei staying at this bach with our 3 children. It was a great location - we enjoyed walking & biking everywhere. The kids enjoyed being able to go to the big field on their own. We didn't get great weather but the bach was well equipped with lots of games, books and magazines. The kitchen was also very well equipped and SKY TV a bonus. My only gripe would be the lack of dryer - but I think we struck an unusually wet week!

Charming Bach! We loved it here

Very sweet Bach just blocks from a beautiful beach. We loved our time here and wish we had stayed longer (and skipped Whangamata). The host was great and the property was set up with everything you need, including a spade to borrow for hot water beach. We liked the ability to cook and appreciated the baking dishes and supplies. The out door shower works great and we were happy to borrow the kayak and rol it to the beach. Lemons growing from the lemon tree were falling off the tree and made an excellent cake. Kids were quite happy with the board games. Very special and well loved property. The only small downside was that there were night parties at two neighboring houses which made for some late noise on two of the nights.

Fabulous family holiday home.

Perfect home for our family of 5. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Great location - short walk to the beach plus a couple of old bikes available to use. Definitely recommend this spot on the Coromandel.
