Awesome private studio w/AC one block to Sunset Beach

This is a great studio with private back yard and lanai. Comes with a queen bed, couch that pulls out to a bed, fully stocked kitchen, bathtub, and gas grill. Laundry is on-site, and gated parking for your car. Newly installed split AC system is heavenly!
There are beach chairs, and boogie boards for your use as well. You'll love the hot and cold outdoor shower and the zen feel to the backyard.
I'm running out of things to say. It's a tile floor and wooden cabinets. Wifi and cable included.

Perfect spot!

Perfect place to surf and work on line, great location and cool neighborhood, 2 minutes by foot from sunset and backyards, 10 from Freddie and Velzy.

Anniversary trip

Great location and beautiful backyard patio with luscious vegetation perfect for pictures. Bed was a little firm but everything else was good. Great location for the beach.

Amazing location. Walking distance to Sunset Beach which was holiday a surf contest. Very quiet neighborhood. Perfect spot. Will be coming back.

Just what we needed

We had a beautiful stay on the North Shore. The property was everything that we needed. It was clean, comfortable and felt very safe. The neighbourhood was gorgeous and we enjoyed eating at Ted’s across the road.

Cozy Cottage

I would definitely stay here again, just without the rain. I wanted a place with access to a nice beach, a sunset view(from the beach), and a private outdoor seating area. This place meet all these requirements. However, it poured rain for our full stay. We took advantage of a break in the rain to walk on the beach. We were cozy hanging out inside.

Perfect North shore location!

Home is just as described. Loved the lanai and hammock. Quiet neighborhood and right around the corner from the beach. We enjoyed the snorkel gear and beach towels. My husband and I were visiting friends in wailua and this was a great location to use as a jumping off point to connect with them and explore on our own. Would definitely stay here again!

North Shore Gem

The property was just as shown in the pictures with great off-street parking. And the beach access was just around the corner! You come to North Shore to be at the beach. Loved to walk on the beach and sit and listen to the waves. Mike was great to work with and promptly answered any questions we had both before and during our stay.

Had everything I needed

Spent a few days hanging out in the North Shore and Mike’s place had everything I needed. Full kitchen to make breakfasts, a beach nearby that I could walk to. Central jumping off point to explore all the gorgeous North Shore beaches by car. The AC worked great for the evenings and the ceilings fans during the day kept the place cool (although I was out for most of the days). The unit is on the ground floor and all the way to the back, and there’s a motion sensor light in the path towards the back which was helpful when coming back nights and in the dark. It was a little tricky to work the key to get in and out of the unit but other than that, it was all pretty easy going.

Great Little Studio

I flew out to visit my husband for a quick 5 day vacation. This studio was perfect. We enjoyed the back deck, bbq, and A/C. It was great being walking distance to the beach. Also appreciated the boogie boards, beach towels and outdoor shower. We will stay here again and could easily have our 12 y/o son with us next time.

Stay was as expected

After seeing some of the reviews, I was worried what we would find. Once we arrived that all went away. If you are expecting to stay in a climate controlled surrounding, you probably shouldn't be on the island.... or find a hotel resort that will cater to you. This is the real part of island living, and you should not expect lavish style. The apartment was great, bed was comfy, and the amenities were just fine. The host was very friendly as well.

What a great location! 1 minute walk to the beach, amazing! Super easy to follow directions and check in process, clean place with a nice patio. Curtains helped to block off the sleeping area and keep it nice and dark, and when you push them away the whole place feels bright and airy. We made coffee and breakfast every morning, and then walked to pipeline. This little place was absolutely perfect for what we wanted/needed

North Shore

Nice location. For the most part the apartment was what was described. There were several minor repairs that should have been fixed, i.e. shower valve and exterior door lock. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

7 night stay

The studio was enough room for the three of us. The bed was comfortable. The studio was clean. The backyard patio was nice to sit at and had a cover and plenty of foliage for privacy. The gate latches could be replaced because one side didn’t close and the other side would blow open and would have to be secured with a string. The toilet fills very slowly so if there will be a few people going then just know you may have to fill the tank if you need to go back to back.

So many things wrong I will be writing the CEO of VRBO, It was from the outside of the property to the unit's self and also things that are questionable . With the host being living above the unit was not a good host , not friendly at all , would not even say hello , Lack of recommunication I t should not be listed because it is not in the Resort District

Location is amazing.

Location is as listed but needs a little overhaul kitchen and utensils. Pull out couch isn't working. Month stay is little inconvenient should be ideal for short trips.

Great location

The studio was perfect for our trip. Like many studios on the north shore there is a constant stream of people staying so it could do with a little freshen up, but it had everything we needed. We loved the Lanai in the mornings and evenings. We didn’t use the air con much as the fans were sufficient. You can’t beat the location. Ted’s bakery round the corner and of course Sunset Beach. The neighborhood is very friendly and quiet. Every morning we cycled the bike path to sharks cove. We can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Studio stay

I don’t think it was used much prior to our stay. It was clean but a little musty. Unfortunately the hide a bed is broken and apparently has been for over a year. So it really doesn’t sleep three. The mattress for a 3rd person is definitely too small for an adult and only a couple inches thick. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay.

Okay not great

Overall had a decent stay but there were some problems. 1.) the bed was extra firm and I think the floor might have been softer, 2.) the pillows smelled musty and were not comfortable to sleep on, 3.) the shower leaked, 4.) the ceiling fan over the bed worked but made a grinding metal sound when on that made it unusable during the night. The rest of the apartment was fine and the neighborhood was quiet. I would stay there again if the price was right.
