"We stayed at the Fort Popham Ocean Estate in March 2026. It is a beautiful house equipped with all the comforts of home. It is a charming and cozy place to stay. The location was outstanding. Right on the water and walking distance to beautiful Popham Beach. Two things to note-the location is pretty remote which we knew and really enjoyed. Also, the lower level was significantly colder than the rest of the home which only matters if you are staying during the cold months.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home. We hope to return again."

"Chris was very welcoming, room was quite cozy with good hot water and WiFi, proximity to Popham is unparalleled.Only small ask would be a cutting board in the room, otherwise great stay! "

"Perfect beach cabin for a relaxing long fall weekend. Very short walk (less than 1 minute) over the dune to the beautiful beach. Need to take stairs/ramp down to the beach, not accessible at peak high tide, but this isn't a problem. Long beatiful beach, perfect for walking the dog, or a run to Fort Baldwin. Downtown Bath is about 25 minutes away, lots of shops, grocery, coffee, etc. Perfect space for our Bernese Mountain Dog - we even joined the annual Berner's in Bath gathering! Cabin was a bit chilly in October, as expected, but the gas heater removed the chill. Sunrise from the bedroom window is a must see!! Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen were well equiped and very clean - a bit of sand near the front door in unavoidable. Wonderful stay, thank you to our hosts!"

"Directions to the cabin were very detailed, and check-in process was easy. Cabin was exactly as advertised, ready and clean. The Host was quick to answer any questions we had, and very accommodating when needed. Cozy cabin, beautiful view of the Ocean, and hearing the waves all day and night was spectacular. If we ever come this way again, we would definitely come back here."

"We came to Georgetown to celebrate our friends wedding at the Grey Havens Inn. Oakledge was the perfect location, we walked to and from the festivities over our long weekend stay. The house was pristinely clean, and we enjoyed many laughs over the breakfast table and firepit. Oakledge isn't far from Reid State Park, where we had a wonderful morning exploring the beach and taking in the captivating Maine coastline. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Cheers!"

"Beach view was amazing. Pet friendly. Comfortable beds. cute cottage at one time but sorely neglected in cleanliness. Fridge not clean, windows that don't open or shut all the way. Bedroom door won't shut due to rubbing on floor. Breakers kept tripping if we had the coffee pot and toaster on at the same time. Cottage location was exceptional but for the cost the cottage was not well maintained and needed repairs badly. Would have stayed again however well look for a more maintained location in the future. "
