"Easy parking. Be aware. If staying here, get a room on the 2nd floor. We stayed on the main floor and it was booming loud. Heard everything magnified. Also be aware on a busy, busy hwy and almost impossible to get on when the fairy unloads."

"Beautiful gardens and sitting areas. Rooms were clean and well appointed with Aveda products. Easy parking and the restaurant/pub just across the street had great food. Pool and hot tub looked clean and well maintained. Floors and beds were done daily and our room smelled fresh each day when we came back. Nice muffins and a coffee tea and juice bar every morning!! Will stay there again next time we are exploring the area!"

"We arrived to find a banana bread on the counter! The boys were thrilled after a long trip! The kitchen has spices, condiments, flour, sugar, baking powder and basic oil and vinegar etc. It was so helpful to not have to buy a bag of flour for pancakes etc.There were some basic needs items in the bathroom also. It felt like visiting family, in that there were q-tips, tylenol, bandaids, that sort of thing. There were lots of games and some books. We lit a fire in the wood stove one night which was so cozy.The path to down to the water is nice. You go down the grasssy area, then onto a number of wooden stair sets, maybe 4 long ones, down to the water. They explored at low tide and kayaked at high tide to see the sunset. It was beautiful and quiet and just what we needed! Thank you Jackie and Ian!"

"Overall, I had a good stay and the hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was convenient, the Wi-Fi worked well, and having on-site coin-operated laundry was a great bonus during travel. A special thank you to the gentleman working the night shift during my stay on April 26–27 - he provided excellent customer service and made check-in very welcoming and pleasant. My only concern during the stay was with one interaction at the front desk in the morning. The older woman with thick rimmed glasses working that shift repeatedly asked whether I was leaving yet while I was still within my checkout time and simply organizing items in my vehicle. I completely understand staff needing to coordinate housekeeping and room turnover, but the repeated questions made me feel somewhat rushed and uncomfortable toward the end of my stay. Aside from that interaction, the rest of the staff and overall experience were positive. That said, overall the stay was still enjoyable, and the hotel offered good amenities and a comfortable experience. I do feel the pricing was a little high for the area, but the cleanliness, breakfast, and amenities helped make up for it."
