"I am writing regarding a serious issue with my recent reservation.
While booking for my birthday, I selected the date 23/02, but due to an error during the booking process, the reservation was unexpectedly changed to 23/03.
As I returned from Lisbon on the same day, I arrived very late and immediately explained the situation at reception. I kindly requested a correction of the date, as the mistake did not reflect my original intent and was clearly visible when comparing the reservation details.
Unfortunately, the receptionist was unhelpful and refused to assist. Instead, I was charged a full, more expensive rate than my initial booking — and without breakfast, which made this situation even more disappointing.
This turned what should have been a special birthday moment into a very unpleasant experience.
I respectfully request:
A reimbursement of the price difference, or
A full or partial refund, or
A credit/voucher for a future stay under the original conditions.
I trust this matter can be resolved fairly and swiftly, as this situation does not reflect the level of service I expected.
