"We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and comfortable, with numerous amenities. It sits on a huge property with plenty of solitude (only 2 neighbors within sight and cows can be heard mooing in the distance.) It's not far from the free ferry over to Grafton, Pere Marquette and the Great River road, or the fee-ferry over to St. Charles (and their historic landing there with quaint shops). It was really the perfect place to get away for a couple of nights. It was a bit windy while we were there, which had us spending more time in the game room one night than outside, which was fine. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again."

"The host, Jerry, is a super guy. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. When we arrived there were two wine glasses and a bottle of white wine. Boy were we ready for a drink after paking and unpacking for the trip.Latter, he knew it was our anniversary so he brought over a vase of flowers. That was extra special. The home feels like a vacation home, comfortable living furniture for everyone and especially the king size bed.The view is definitely what will bring me back the most of all.The barges going by the house and through the lock and dam. This was an exciting experience for us both, and our little dog."

"The house was amazing !!! The pictures did not do it justice. The house was spotless, the decor was so cute , anything and everything you could have needed for the kitchen was there, within walking distance of all the Main Street attractions, but our absolute favorite part of the house was the sun room!! The view of the river was so relaxing . We would definitely rent this house again when we visit . Thank you VRBO host "
