Location is very nice

Nice location in quiet corner of Hamburg and taking the ferry to downtown was magic. Nice walks around the hotel. Nice breakfast and friendly service. Mainstream hotel but nice

Great location out of Hamburg but close enough

Great location next to river with ferry stop to Hamburg right outside. Nice breakfast and a couple of small restaurants nearby / across river. Staff are excellent and room was clean and comfortable.

Super staff and great location

The staff, particularly the Operations Manager, were super helpful to accommodate my imposed change of plans - thank you! The hotel is great: nice staff, big selection for tasty breakfast, fabulous location for ferry to central Hamburg, and not far from altesland.

Let’s itself down!

Stay here often for work due to proximity to the Airbus facility. Service is random, food can be random, price can be random and I’d rate the facilities poor due the broken air conditioning (+2 years), tvs are very small and linen / towels are average! Opening windows only lets in the mosquitoes which frequent the riverside location. Positives are the location for Airbus and the ferry port outside.

It is right on the Elbe River with easy cheap service to the Hamburg harbor and downtown area. The cruise and container ships pass your window and if you like to stay in your room you have a beautiful view of their comings and goings. The Rilano Hotel is my favorite of all Hamburg Hotels. The breakfast is sumptuous and the staff very friendly. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Virkeligt dejligt hotel, og skønt med værelse med udsigt over Elben. Let at komme ind til byen med færgerne der går lige et stenkast fra hotellet. Eneste anke var sengen, der virkede som om den manglede en topmadras.

Naja, Ausblick auf Fluss war leider durch Bäume/Hecken versperrt. Sollte man vielleicht dann auch erwähnen, wenn man mit Flussblick bucht. Badezimmer, vor allem Toilette war nicht sauber, Haare im Bett. War leider nicht ganz so zufrieden wie 10 Tage zuvor. Hab das Hotel zur Zwischenübernachtung gebucht und bei meinem ersten Aufenthalt super zufrieden, daher erneute Buchung, leider etwas enttäuschend, vor allem was den Flussblick betraf.

Meine Frau und ich sind schon sehr viel in der Welt herumgereist, aber 4,5 Sterne haben wir hier an keiner Ecke gesehen. Ich weiß, das 4,5 Sterne hier 3 Sternen in Asien gleich kommen, aber dennoch hat es uns nicht überzeugt noch einmal buchen zu wollen. Wir hatten eine Suit gebucht. Aussicht war begrenzt, denn nur höher gelegene Suit haben über den seitlichen Balkon und aus den Zimmern den richtigen Elbblick. Die 101 mehr unverbaubaren Blick auf den Parkbereich und Bäume denn auf die Elbe. Bei 4,5 Sternen gehe ich auch von einer Klimaanlage aus. Zimmer sind NICHT klimatisiert, man bekommt bei Nachfrage unterschiedliche Aussagen. Vor allem das dieser Hinweis auf der Webseite stehen soll war nicht nachvollziehbar und tut er auch nicht. Letztlich bekamen wir einen billigen, nicht leisen Standventilator den man sich in Schlafzimmer stellen kann. Bei offnem Fenster war es leider durch überlaute Partyboote und Fährverkehr (Ist ja auch alles ok) schlecht möglich Ruhe zu finden. Der Boden, die Möbel im Zimmer und auch der Teppich sind schon ziemlich alt und fleckig. Das an das Schlafzimmer angrenzende Bad, es gibt noch eine zusätzliche Toilette am Eingang, macht es fast unmöglich den Partner in der Nacht durch die von außen zu bedienende Stadionbeleuchtung im Inneren dann zu stören oder aufzuwecken. Abstand Tür Bett ungefähr 50 cm. Für 280€ pro Nacht sollte man wirklich mehr erwarten dürfen. Da ist definitiv Nachbesserung angesagt. Frühstück war ok aber keine 4,5 Sterne. Schade.
