"We loved the quiet, rural location, with horses to be seen from our window. The staff were very friendly, the beds comfortable, coffee and tea were available any time, and there was a refrigerator to store our cold food items. Aside from the on-site restaurant, the location was not walking distance from any restaurants or shopping. We had a rental car and drove to the nearby towns, which are only 10 minutes away. "Lovely stay, room is a bit basic but everything else we loved. Not all staff speak English but we still loved it and had some good laughs trying to communicate. Food and beers were fantastic, would stay again"

"This was our fourth stay at this hotel. It has changed hands over last several years but has changed very little in its nice and quaint historic appearance. Breakfast was good. A lack of air conditioning during the visit caused some discomfort, but higher temperatures were unexpected. This hotel is located within walking distance of most trail areas (and there are a lot of trail areas). "
